Final Blog Entry

This course was very fun, and I enjoyed It thoroughly.  I learned how to use what is already out there to create a functional, professional looking site for no money. This course was great and I look forward to many more computer programming and design course like this one.

Assignment 10

I have checked for grammatical mistakes, I have also added some new songs and videos to the website, and took away some of the bright, flashy colors. I've come to realize the website was a little too busy.
Hope You Enjoy the Final Product !

Assignment 9

Go to your blog and tell us the best shopping cart you found on the Internet and let us what option you chose:

I chose GoFundMe, because it is free to sign up and has an extensive following of over $850 million raised for a wide variety of causes. Also they only take 5% from each donation. It is better than Paypal, because it is easier to use. I recommend this method.

Assignment 7

On the site builder I have It has a free SEO, that I can apply, so I did that. Also I signed up for a few free meta site's where I can submit my website.  I used submit-express which in turn submitted my site to multiple sites who then emailed me for confirmation, to help improve traffic flow of my site.
Also The SEO's are a good way to get search engines to bring up your site if key words are searched.
Also I've created a youtube PROMO video to help raise awareness and increase the amount of visitors to my site.

Assignment 5

I want to build a nonprofit site, to help stop suicide and bullying. I want to start a movement and I hope to accomplish a good viewing of this site. H.E.L.P Project (Heal Everyone Lacking Perseverance) and also D4AC (Dance For A Chance) later on. The site will contain quotes, helpful links to other sites similar to mine, Blog areas for venting, contact information to help support, My story page, and other things similar to a self-help page.

I found some free sites, but none have the option for your own domain name, for no charge.

http://www.50webs.com/signup.html?plan=1 : Great site, but you have to pay for domain name
https://www.awardspace.net/signup.html?gid=1111& : Good site, but you have to pay for domain name as well for one year.
http://www.webs.com/ : I did not do something like this because I cannot use Kompozer as a template.

I was confused on how much disk space I needed, and this article really helped me.

I would have went with 50Webs because they offered me a domain name and the most Disk Space for the least amount. If I chose to pay for my domain, I would chose this one as well because of the inexpensiveness.

I went with www.x10hosting.com, because of the various ways I could publish my site, although I am having some slight complications.
Until I work out the problems, I will use wix.com to build a website using an already uploading template for easy creation.
